New Poll Shows Trump Now Leading Biden in Arizona and Nevada

According to a batch of new polling data, Former President Trump is currently ahead of President Biden in potential head-to-head matchup in the all important swing states of Arizona and Nevada.

According to a recent survey by Emerson College Polling/The Hill, 46 percent of Arizona voters favor Trump in a head-to-head matchup with Biden, with 43 percent supporting the incumbent. 12% remained undecided

A recent survey conducted in Nevada showed Trump ahead by six points, with 46 percent of voters in the state favoring the former president and 40 percent supporting Biden. 14% of the participants remained uncertain.

With Biden and Trump both on track to secure their party’s presidential nominations, recent polls indicate a tight competition in crucial swing states.

When independent candidates are included, Trump’s advantage over Biden in Arizona increases from three to six points and rises in Nevada from six to 10 points.

With independents included in the race, Trump was chosen by 44 percent of respondents, while 34 percent favored Biden. Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. received six percent of the support, with Cornel West and Jill Stein each getting one percent. Thirteen percent of the participants remained undecided.

In addition, Arizona is seeing Biden with a slight advantage among independent voters, a crucial voting demographic in the state

However, roughly six in 10 voters in both Nevada and Arizona said Biden’s age raises serious doubts in voting for him in 2024, while just over half of voters in either state say Trump’s criminal indictments raise similar doubts.

Conducted from Feb. 16-19, the polls surveyed 1,000 registered voters in each state. The results come with a credibility interval of plus or minus 3 percentage points, akin to a poll’s margin of error.
