Pelosi Attacks Trump, Refers to Him as ‘Scared Puppy’ in Wake of Latest Indictment

Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) reportedly said on Friday that former President Trump had appeared “scared puppy” the day before as he arrived to Washington, D.C., for his arraignment on charges linked to the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021, and his attempts to hold onto power.

On Thursday in Washington’s federal court, Trump entered a not guilty plea to four charges accusing him of leading a conspiracy to mislead the country and attempting to prevent the certification of ballots on January 6, 2021.

“I wasn’t in the courtroom of course, but when I saw his coming out of his car and this or that, I saw a scared puppy. He looked very, very, very concerned about the fate.” She said.

“He knows the truth, the truth that he lost the election. And now he’s got to face the music.”  she continued.

Trump is accused of running a dishonest, fraudulent, and conceited campaign to impede democracy, according to the Department of Justice’s 45-page indictment.

The House Select Committee to Investigate the Attack on the U.S. Capitol, which looked into the disturbance at the Capitol on January 6 and related events as well as correspondence from individuals engaged, included nine members appointed by Pelosi.
