Fox News Host Neil Cavuto Returns to Air After Weeks Away

After weeks off of the air Neil Cavuto has returned to Fox News hosting “Your World” and “Coast to Coast.”

Cavuto has been absent from the network since the middle of January with no explanation being given.

However, on Monday, Cavuto returned and he offered an explanation. The anchor detailed a battle with Covid that landed him in the intensive care.

After being off air for over a month, Fox's Neil Cavuto returned today to reveal he had been in the ICU with "covid pneumonia" and that it was really "touch-and-go" and "scary" for a while.

Cavuto explained how he is immunocompromised both from a previous cancer battle and an ongoing battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

January 11th was Cavuto’s last show before his latest absence, but it wasn’t his only time missing time for Covid. Cavuto missed several days in October after contracting Covid the first time.

In his absence Cavuto’s slot was filled in by Sandra Smith, Charles Payne, and David Asman among others.
