Barron Trump Reportedly Living ‘Reclusive’ Life as Iranian Threats Intensify

Barron Trump is reportedly keeping a low profile as he faces threats from Iran, including an alleged $10 million bounty targeting the president’s youngest son.

President Donald Trump’s 20-year-old son, his only child with first lady Melania Trump, has largely avoided public spaces and rarely ventures out, according to a New York Post report.

“He doesn’t go out,” one person described as a “longtime Trumpworld figure” told the newspaper.

Another source offered a similar description of Barron’s daily life, saying, “The kid’s pretty reclusive.”

“You don’t see him hanging around,” a third source said. The source described Barron as moving quickly through public spaces while traveling directly to wherever he is privately staying.

According to the report, Barron has focused on “avoiding public areas and heading straight to his private retreats” while remaining mostly outside the public eye.

Barron, who runs an energy drink business, recently completed his sophomore year at New York University. He was last seen publicly in July while attending the World Cup with members of his family.

The president’s son was also reportedly “deeply affected” by the September 2025 assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, with whom he had a close relationship.

Concerns surrounding Barron’s security have intensified amid the ongoing war with Iran.

Iranian state television recently aired a three-minute video produced by media linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, according to a translation by Euronews.

“Where and how should we kill Barron Trump?” the video asked.

The broadcast reportedly claimed that Barron’s movements were being monitored and alleged that a $10 million bounty had been placed on his head.

It was not the first Iranian propaganda video to target the Trump family. A similar video aired in July and included threats against both Barron and Melania Trump.

Melania reportedly requested an extension of her son’s Secret Service protection in 2022. That request was granted by then-President Joe Biden.

The Office of the First Lady has asked media organizations to respect Barron’s privacy as the threats surrounding him continue.

Citing “recent threats,” the office requested that “any details concerning his private life be excluded from all coverage.”

Barron has generally remained less visible than the president’s other adult children. The latest report indicates that his public appearances have become especially limited as Iranian media continues broadcasting threatening material directed at him and his mother.

Sources told the New York Post that Barron’s approach involves minimizing his time in visible public locations and moving directly into private areas. His most recent reported appearance remains the family’s World Cup outing in July.
