President Donald Trump unleashed a blistering attack on Fox News anchor Shannon Bream Sunday evening, accusing her program of being biased against his MAGA movement and Republicans while blasting the network for airing what he called outdated images of construction at the White House.
The Truth Social broadside marked Trump’s second attack on Bream that day.
Trump took particular issue with images aired during “Fox News Sunday” showing the site of the White House Military Complex/Ballroom project, arguing that viewers were being shown photographs that were months out of date and did not accurately reflect the current state of the work.
“During Shannon Bream’s show, they showed pictures of the Military Complex/Ballroom site at the White House,” Trump wrote.
The president said the images were taken before much of the work had begun and claimed the most difficult portion of the project was now substantially finished. He added that work on the roof and what he called the “DronePort” would begin soon.
Trump questioned why Bream did not show more recent images before taking a personal swipe at the Fox News anchor, referring to her as “Milktoast.”
He then declared “Fox News Sunday” to be heavily biased against MAGA, Trump and Republicans, going so far as to compare Bream unfavorably with former Fox News anchor Chris Wallace.
“Even Chris Wallace was better, and he was really bad,” Trump wrote, before asking, “WHERE IS CHRIS WALLACE?”
Trump also targeted Fox News anchor Bret Baier and others at the network over polling, calling the surveys “Fake Polls” and saying those airing them were embarrassing themselves.
The president pointed to the results of the Nov. 5, 2024 presidential election, writing that he won “IN A LANDSLIDE,” including all seven swing states, the popular vote, 86% of counties and the Electoral College by a 312-226 margin.
The Sunday evening post came just hours after Trump had already ripped Bream in another lengthy Truth Social message, declaring her show “beyond redemption.”
Trump’s criticism followed Bream’s interview with Attorney General Todd Blanche, during which she questioned why the administration would not seek congressional approval for the president’s ballroom project.
“We don’t believe we have to go Congress,” Blanche told Bream.
The project has also become the subject of a court battle. A federal appeals court ruled that the administration must halt work on the ballroom, prompting Trump to appeal the decision to the Supreme Court.
As for Wallace, whom Trump invoked during his criticism of Bream, the former cable news anchor has reportedly moved into the business world.
Wallace has joined RedBird Capital Partners as an adviser, according to The New York Times. RedBird is a major investor in Skydance, which recently purchased Paramount.
