Erika Kirk to Co-Host “The Five” as She Promotes Charlie Kirk’s Final Book and Expands His Legacy

Erika Kirk, widow of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, is reportedly now preparing for a major media push next week as she promotes her late husband’s final book, “STOP, in the Name of God,” and steps further into the national spotlight. Fox News announced that Erika will co-host “The Five” on December 9, following an earlier appearance that same morning on “Fox & Friends.”

Charlie Kirk completed the manuscript just one month before he was assassinated at Utah Valley University. In the wake of his death, Erika assumed leadership of Turning Point USA, vowing to expand the conservative youth organization across college campuses nationwide. Her elevation to CEO, combined with public interest in Charlie’s intellectual and political legacy, has made her a key voice in the movement he helped build.

The media tour will not be limited to Fox News. Erika is also scheduled for a long-form interview on “Will Cain Country,” the popular podcast hosted by Fox News contributor Will Cain. Her highest-profile appearance will take place on December 13 during a CBS News primetime town hall led by Bari Weiss. Weiss, now editor-in-chief at CBS News, praised Erika’s poise and character, recalling the powerful moment when she forgave her husband’s killer during his memorial.

“Like so many people around the world, I will never forget the moment that Erika Kirk forgave her husband’s killer,” Weiss said in a statement. “I am eager to speak to her — and thrilled to be doing so in front of a group of Americans who I know will elevate the conversation.”

During her upcoming interviews, Erika is expected to discuss Charlie’s final book, his views on faith and politics, and the principles he hoped to pass on to young Americans. She will also address broader political themes, including gun violence and the increasingly polarized climate in the United States.

Speaking previously with CNBC’s Andrew Ross Sorkin, Erika warned about the cultural forces that she believes are fueling violence in America. “What I’ve realized through all of this is that you can have individuals that will always resort to violence,” she said, noting that political differences have become an excuse for some to lash out. “And what I’m afraid of is that we are living in a day and age where they think violence is the solution to them not wanting to hear a different point of view.”

Erika pushed back against efforts to blame firearms for what she sees as deeper moral decay. “That’s not a gun problem,” she said. “That’s a human — deeply human — problem. That is a soul problem, that is a mental [problem], that is a very deeper issue.”

Her message aligns closely with her husband’s long-standing critique of cultural decline and his calls for renewed personal responsibility and spiritual grounding. As she continues his work and steps into a larger leadership role, Erika’s media appearances are expected to energize supporters and introduce a wider audience to the themes Charlie championed in his final book.
