Kristi Noem, the Secretary of Homeland Security, was reportedly transported to a Washington, D.C., hospital on Tuesday after experiencing an allergic reaction.
According to sources familiar with the situation, Noem, 53, is currently conscious and recovering, having communicated with her security team during her hospitalization.
The allergic reaction prompted her ambulance transport earlier in the day, with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin confirming that Noem was taken to the hospital “out of an abundance of caution.”
