3 U.S. Soldiers Become Casualties, 1 Seriously, During Biden’s Gaza Pier Operation

During an operation to support President Joe Biden’s initiative to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza, three U.S. service members reportedly sustained injuries, on seriously.

According to an official from the U.S. Central Command, one of the soldiers sustained an ankle injury, another sustained a back injury, and the third was transported to a hospital in Israel with severe injuries.

On Tuesday of this week, Pentagon spokesperson Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder stated that the Palestinian people have not received any of the 569 tons of aid that have been transported to Gaza since last week.

He stated that, despite the fact that aid was being delivered from the pier, none of it has been distributed to civilians in Gaza.

The U.N. World Food Program has announced that Biden’s $320 million pier for Gaza is at risk of becoming yet another failure for the 81-year-old president.

The program is at risk of failing due to the fact that the majority of the food is being seized in Gaza, which is preventing it from being distributed.

In a Thursday update, U.S. Central Command reported that 506 tons of aid had effectively reached the warehouse and that 820.5 tons had been offloaded from the pier. It remains uncertain whether any of it has been distributed to civilians.
