Pelosi Accuses MSNBC Host Katie Tur of Being ‘Apologist’ for Trump During Heated Interview

Nancy Pelosi, the former Speaker of the House and a Democrat from California, criticized MSNBC’s Katy Tur for being a supporter or defender of former President Trump.

During her visit on the network, Pelosi praised President Biden’s economic achievements.

“[President Biden] created 9 million jobs in his term in office. Donald Trump has the worst record of job loss of any president. So we just have to make sure people know.” Pelosi said.

“There was a global pandemic” Tur said in response.

“He had the worst record of any president. We’ve had other concerns in our country.” Pelosi said, looking shocked by Tur’s response.

“If you want to be an apologist for Donald Trump, that may be your role, but it ain’t mine,” Pelosi added.

“I don’t think anyone can accuse me of that.” Tur shot back.

MSNBC often incurs the anger of Trump and his supporters, since it showcases prominent progressive hosts who consistently scrutinize the previous president and his policies.
