REPORT: U.S. Rushing Air Defenses to Middle East As Tensions With Iran Boil Over

According to a defense official, the United States is now rushing fresh military resources to the Red Sea in anticipation of an imminent assault by Iran or one of its affiliated groups on Israel.

If the Biden administration were to act in defense of Israel during an imminent attack, Iran has issued a warning to retaliate against U.S. soldiers stationed in the Middle East. The undisclosed defensive assets will serve as a deterrent against Iran’s potential threats towards American forces, who have recently faced continuous attacks from Iran’s proxies in Iraq and Syria.

Gen. Erik Kurilla, the head of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), traveled to Israel on Thursday to collaborate with Israeli leadership on the matter of Tehran’s imminent reprisal.

Tehran has been indicating its intention to execute the attack for several days, but the method and manner of the attack remain uncertain.

President Joe Biden has reiterated the unwavering support of the United States for Israel, even though there are growing tensions between the Biden administration and Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu. This comes as Iran’s imminent threat to strike Israel becomes increasingly apparent.

In early April, Israel conducted surprise attacks that resulted in the targeted killing of multiple high-ranking officers from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a paramilitary force responsible for overseeing global proxy activities.

According to reports, Iran informed other Middle Eastern countries that it considers the United States to be personally accountable for the attack on IRGC leaders in Damascus.
