Chris Christie Predicts Trump Will be Convicted Felon By Spring of ’24

2024 Chris Christie, the Republican candidate for president, predicted in the spring of 2024 that former President Trump would be a convicted felon.

Christie stated in a Thursday interview with Jake Tapper on CNN’s “The Lead” that the founding fathers of the United States would never have predicted a convicted felon could run for president.

Christie argued that they would have explicitly prohibited felons from running for president if they had.

Christie reminisced about a query that moderators posed during the initial debate while discussing former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the top two Republican opponents of Trump.

“Remember, both of them raised their hand on the stage in the first debate and said they would support [Trump] even if he’s a convicted felon. George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin are rolling in their graves,” Christie exclaimed.

“If they knew that anyone would have had the audacity, as a felon — which Donald Trump will be, come this spring — to run for president, and that other people running for the office would be willing to support someone like that, they would have added, ‘You can’t be a convicted felon,’ to ‘age 35’ and ‘natural-born American citizen,’ as requirements for the presidency.” he continued.

Former New Jersey governor Chris Christie continued to criticize Haley and DeSantis for their support of Trump, who has been charged with 91 felonies across four separate criminal cases.

The accusations pertain to a variety of purported offenses, which comprise attempting to annul the election results, deliberately safeguarding national security secrets, and fabricating business records concerning purported hush money payments preceding the 2016 election.
