REPORT: Tucker Carlson Creating New Media Company

According to persons familiar with the situation, former Fox News hosts Tucker Carlson and Neil Patel are reportedly looking to raise money to launch a new media firm that may utilize Twitter as its foundation.

Longer versions of the free films that Carlson has been sharing often on Twitter since shortly after leaving Fox News would serve as the foundation of the new organization, but eventually, subscriptions would drive it, according to some of the sources.

According to the persons, Carlson and Patel are attempting to raise hundreds of millions of dollars to finance the business.

The sources stated that while viewers on Twitter and other platforms would still be able to see free excerpts of his program, interviews, and documentaries, they would have to subscribe to access them in full.

The business promised to ultimately include shows from additional hosts.

Recent weeks saw a meeting between Carlson’s team and a Twitter team to discuss the project, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.

The new business founded by Carlson and Patel would also have a website and a mobile app, and it is looking at additional platforms outside Twitter for its content.

According to Musk, Twitter should be a safe sanctuary for free expression, even if it is controversial. Carlson is one of the many creators Twitter wants on its platform, he added.
