Chris Christie Claims He Will ‘Beat Trump’s A**’ ‘In the Ring’

Chris Christie, a former governor of New Jersey who is running for the Republican presidential nomination, is now reportedly asserting that if they engaged in a physical altercation, he would dispatch the late president Donald Trump with ease.

In an interview with Piers Morgan that aired on Thursday, Christie was there, and Morgan asked him the peculiar question.

“Talking of fighting, if you and Trump got in the ring — he loves his UFC and stuff like that, right — if you got in the octagon, you and him, who would win?” Morgan asked.

“Come on. Guy is 78-years-old. I’d kick his ass,” Christie replied.

After a followup question, Christie went on to claim that he would “fight Donald Trump anywhere he wants in any arena he wants. Whether it’s on a debate stage, or in the octagon.”

The assertion of physical dominance occurs in the middle of an intensifying and intensely personal verbal battle between the two contenders.

Christie has been the most outspoken opponent of Trump in the Republican field, claiming that the former president’s legal difficulties afflict him and charging him with cowardice for his plans to forego the debates.
