New Poll Shows Majority of Americans Believe Hunter Biden Got Off Easy With Plea Deal

Due to his use of drugs and prostitutes, allegations of money laundering, and most recently, criminal charges, President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, has made news frequently in the last several years.

The recent agreement Hunter Biden made to avoid jail time has angered many Republicans who claim the president’s son is enjoying special benefits and privileges.

According to a recent Rasmussen Reports study, most Americans now appear to share this opinion.

In accordance with the research, 67% of people think that Hunter Biden received “favorable treatment from federal prosecutors because his father is the president.” Even more damning, 49% of respondents to the poll think it is “Very Likely” that the president’s son received preferential treatment.

The majority of voters disapprove of the plea agreement that got Hunter Biden out of jail and believe that the president’s son received preferential treatment.

According to the most recent national telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports, 41% of Likely U.S. Voters strongly disapprove of the bargain that saw Hunter Biden agree to plead guilty to charges of breaking federal tax and gun rules, making up 55% of those who disagree.

37 percent of respondents approve of the plea agreement, with 19% strongly agreeing.

The poll also showed that the settlement the president’s son obtained after pleading guilty to breaking federal tax and gun rules is unpopular with 55% of potential voters.

Hunter Biden will receive probation in lieu of jail time after pleading guilty to two misdemeanor charges of “willful failure to pay” federal income taxes and a felony weapons charge.
