In a fiery new tirade, President Donald Trump reportedly unleashed his frustrations against Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez following her call for his impeachment, prompted by his recent military actions in Iran.
The remarks, posted on Truth Social, marked a notable escalation in Trump’s ongoing feud with the New York congresswoman.
“Stupid AOC, one of the ‘dumbest’ people in Congress, is now calling for my impeachment,” Trump began, framing Ocasio-Cortez’s criticism as a reflection of the Democratic Party’s struggles under his administration.
He argued that her outburst stemmed from the successes achieved during his presidency, suggesting that Democrats are unaccustomed to winning.
Trump’s comments came in response to Ocasio-Cortez’s assertion that his decision to bomb Iranian nuclear sites was a breach of constitutional authority, constituting grounds for impeachment.
“The reason for her ‘rantings’ is all of the victories that the U.S.A. has had under the Trump administration,” he claimed, dismissing her concerns as mere complaints from a politician who he believes is unqualified for office.
In an extended commentary, Trump derided not only Ocasio-Cortez but also other Democratic figures, including Senator Chuck Schumer and Representative Ilhan Omar.
He criticized Omar for her criticisms of the United States, contrasting her remarks with the conditions in her home country, which he described as plagued by crime and poverty.
“How dare ‘The Mouse’ tell us how to run the United States of America!” Trump exclaimed, referring to Ocasio-Cortez. He insisted that she should focus on issues within her own district in Queens, which he labeled as “filthy” and “crime-ridden.”
Trump also took a jab at Ocasio-Cortez’s cognitive abilities, suggesting she should take a cognitive test similar to one he recently completed. “Instead of her constant complaining, she should go back home and straighten out her district,” he asserted.
As he wrapped up his remarks, Trump challenged Ocasio-Cortez to focus on her own political future, claiming her party has reached historically low approval ratings.
“They just hit the lowest poll numbers in Congressional history, so go ahead and try impeaching me again, MAKE MY DAY!” he concluded, highlighting his defiance in the face of mounting political pressure.
The exchange underscores the deepening divisions within American politics, as figures like Ocasio-Cortez and Trump continue to clash over critical issues, including foreign policy and accountability.
As tensions rise, the implications for both parties remain uncertain, particularly ahead of the upcoming election cycle.
