Trump-Declassified Documents Reveal Secret FBI Operation Targeting Biden Corruption Claims

Newly declassified documents released by the White House Government Transparency Task Force reportedly reveal a secret counterintelligence operation that sought to neutralize allegations involving the Biden family during the 2020 presidential election.

The operation, codenamed “Round River,” was detailed Wednesday by John Solomon, who said President Donald Trump declassified the documents.

According to Solomon, the counterintelligence operation separated figures connected to the Biden-Ukraine controversy into two categories.

The first group included Democrats such as Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, along with George Soros and others. Solomon said those individuals were characterized as victimized “targets” of Russian disinformation.

The second category included conservatives and media figures who were raising questions about Hunter Biden’s relationship with Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company.

Solomon said that group included Bill Barr, Mike Pompeo, Sens. Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson, Rep. Jim Jordan, Fox News, Greg Jarrett and Solomon himself.

Those figures, according to Solomon’s description of the newly released material, were branded “conduits” of Russian disinformation.

Solomon characterized Round River as essentially a reverse version of Crossfire Hurricane, the investigation involving allegations of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.

“After investigating for three years disproven, Democrat allegations of Russia collusion, the FBI flipped to discrediting significant evidence from its own informants about alleged Biden family corruption,” Solomon wrote.

The newly released evidence, according to Solomon, also shows that the FBI had at least 14 confidential human sources who reported derogatory information concerning Joe Biden.

Solomon said FBI analysts working during Round River entered some of those sources’ files and marked their intelligence as Russian disinformation in an effort to discredit it.

An intelligence community review conducted last year found that the Round River team did not determine whether the Ukraine allegations themselves were true, according to Solomon.

FBI Director Kash Patel has since dismantled the team responsible for the operation and launched an investigation into its conduct, Solomon said.

The release is apparently only the beginning of a much larger disclosure involving Round River.

Solomon said thousands of additional pages related to the operation are expected to be released over the coming weeks.

Patel has also offered to take what Solomon described as the unprecedented step of releasing the actual evidence that confidential human sources provided to the FBI.

“We will be releasing thousands of more pages on this operation in the weeks ahead,” Solomon wrote.

Solomon praised Patel for the planned disclosure, saying the FBI director’s decision would give the public access to the underlying information provided by confidential sources.

“We are grateful for such transparency,” Solomon said.
