Flyers at Michigan Protest Threaten “Unparalleled Disorder” if Demands to Abolish Supreme Court and ICE Are Ignored

Flyers distributed during a left-wing “No Kings” protest in Ann Arbor, Michigan, are drawing alarm after calling for sweeping unrest and the abolition of core U.S. institutions, including the Supreme Court and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The flyers warned that if their demands are not met, “disorder will be without parallel in modern times.”

The leaflets, handed out during the weekend protest, opened with an unmistakably militant message. “Everything comes to a head,” the flyer declared. “We draw up the terms. We arrange the time and the date. Your people. And our people. We have demands. In no uncertain terms, the following conditions must be met, or hostilities will continue, and they will escalate.”

The document’s tone reflected an organized threat of continued unrest. Its authors called on “millions” to “rise up, block the streets, take over research centers, and raise the banner of FREE HEALTHCARE and MEDICAL AUTONOMY for everyone on U.S. soil,” a demand apparently intended to include illegal immigrants.

More concerning to law enforcement officials, the flyer appeared to encourage direct attacks on government agencies and infrastructure. It urged supporters to “destroy their infrastructure, discredit their operations, and overwhelm their personnel,” naming ICE, the Border Patrol, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and local police as targets.

The document also demanded that protesters “storm the Supreme Court” and “ABOLISH IT outright,” arguing for its replacement with a radical new system of “community elders, wayward youngsters, and those who earn trust in their communities continuously because of their care and humility, not appointed authority.” The statement appeared to advocate for a decentralized, anarchist form of local governance in place of federal institutions.

The flyer promoted a “Neighborhood anti-ICE Training” at the ICC Education Center in Ann Arbor, a venue described by its operators as a student-run nonprofit that supports “safe spaces and inclusive communities.” The Inter-Cooperative Council, which runs the center, did not immediately respond to inquiries about the event or its connection to the protest.

The Ann Arbor demonstration and its associated messaging come amid a broader trend of escalating rhetoric on the far left, where activists have increasingly adopted confrontational and sometimes violent tactics. Federal officials have noted a rise in coordinated actions targeting law enforcement and government facilities, particularly under the “Antifa” label.

Recent data and law enforcement assessments indicate that federal agencies are tracking Antifa-related organizations under domestic terrorism protocols. Officials have cited incidents in which self-identified Antifa members were charged as terrorists, including after a sniper attack on an ICE facility.

Earlier this week, The National Pulse reported that a long-running Antifa website shut down, with organizers citing fears of intensified federal scrutiny under the Trump administration.

The Ann Arbor flyers, with their open threats and calls for violent action, mark a stark escalation in the rhetoric emerging from activist circles once confined to online forums. While mainstream Democrats have not endorsed such calls, the growing willingness of militant groups to invoke violence highlights an increasingly volatile political climate—one that federal officials say could test the limits of free expression and public safety alike.
