Brian Kilmeade Claims Trump is ‘Furious’ Over Elon Musks’ Attack on Major Bill

In a revealing segment on Fox News’ Fox & Friends, co-host Brian Kilmeade disclosed that President Donald Trump is reportedly infuriated with Elon Musk’s recent disparaging remarks about his proposed budget, dubbed the “Big, Beautiful” bill.

This revelation comes as a surprise to many, given the typically strategic and measured responses from Trump regarding public criticisms.

Kilmeade, speaking during the morning show, articulated that Musk’s critique caught Trump off guard.

“I think the Elon Musk thing really caught the president by surprise,” he noted, adding, “And I hear he is furious!” This sentiment underscores the tension between the president and the tech mogul, who is known for his unfiltered commentary and significant influence in the political landscape.

Musk, who has historically aligned himself with Trump on various issues, recently launched a pointed attack on the budget proposal, calling it wasteful and misaligned with conservative fiscal principles.

His remarks have raised eyebrows among Trump’s supporters, prompting discussions about the implications for the president’s political agenda.

Despite the backlash, Kilmeade suggested that Trump’s best course of action might be to remain silent in response to Musk’s comments. “He’s so smart to keep his powder dry,” he observed, implying that a public outburst would only serve to validate critics who argue that the Republican Party struggles to unify.

Kilmeade emphasized that the focus should remain on passing the budget rather than engaging in a personal feud with Musk, stating, “Elon Musk is not in the Senate or the House. Don’t worry about it.”

Co-host Lawrence Jones attempted to mitigate the situation, arguing that Musk’s intentions might not be entirely adversarial. “I don’t think Elon is anti-MAGA now, or anti-the president now,” Jones asserted, suggesting that Musk’s criticisms stemmed from a desire to eliminate wasteful spending rather than a rejection of Trump’s overarching goals.

However, co-host Ainsley Earhardt expressed skepticism about the potential for reconciliation between Trump and Musk. “I was shocked to hear him say that,” she remarked, voicing her understanding of Trump’s displeasure with Musk’s comments.

The unfolding drama reflects broader themes of loyalty and dissent within the Republican Party, particularly as Trump continues to assert his influence in the political arena.

In this turbulent political landscape, Trump’s reaction to Musk’s criticism serves as a microcosm of the challenges he faces in unifying a party that is increasingly divided on various fronts.

Whether Trump chooses to confront Musk or adopt a strategy of silence remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: the stakes are high as he navigates these complex relationships.
