Jesse Watters Counter Jessica Tarlov With Quip on Trump Assassination Attempt

On a recent episode of The Five, Fox News host Jesse Watters reportedly humorously accused co-host Jessica Tarlov of being responsible for the assassination attempt against President Donald Trump.

This exchange occurred during a heated discussion about the Trump administration’s deportation policies.

Tarlov had been discussing a case involving a family in Oklahoma City that was detained by ICE during the night.

She expressed her disapproval of such actions, prompting co-host Jeanine Pirro to counter that the situation was resolved and the family was returned home.

Tarlov then challenged Pirro, suggesting that being forcibly removed from one’s home would not be acceptable if it happened to her.

As the conversation progressed, Tarlov criticized the targeting of immigration attorneys by the Trump administration.

In response, Watters made a series of sarcastic remarks, stating that Tarlov had “targeted the president” by allegedly rummaging through Melania Trump’s belongings.

Tarlov denied this claim, asserting that Trump was not even home at the time.

Watters escalated the humor by jokingly accusing Tarlov of having shot Trump during a previous assassination attempt in July 2024.

Tarlov firmly denied his claim, while Watters continued to jest, insisting, “You did. Everybody knows it.”

Co-host Greg Gutfeld chimed in, suggesting that Tarlov’s side was responsible for the concept of doxxing, further fueling the lighthearted banter among the hosts.

The exchange highlighted the ongoing tensions between the hosts, blending serious political discourse with humor.

The segment showcased the often playful yet contentious dynamic on The Five, where political commentary frequently intertwines with personal jabs, keeping viewers engaged in both the issues and the personalities involved.
