Kamala Harris Drops ‘F-Bomb’ During White House Event

On Monday, during a live-streamed White House event, Vice President Kamala Harris dropped an F-bomb and asked the audience to “excuse” her language.

Harris remarked on the necessity for minorities to advocate for themselves in a discussion with comedian Jimmy O. Yang (“Crazy Rich Asians”) at the annual Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies Legislative Leadership Summit.

“We have to know that sometimes people will open the door for you and leave it open,” Harris said.

“Sometimes they won’t, and then you need to kick that f***ing door down,” she continued.

Yang initiated the event, which is being conducted in observance of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and is hosted by the White House, by inquiring about Harris’ historic moment as the first woman to be elected to the vice presidency.

Harris continued by emphasizing the significance of questioning established norms, expanding boundaries, and, if required, demolishing obstacles.

A number of additional events observance of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month are planned for this week at the White House.
