Fetterman Brutally Mocks Pro-Palestinian Student Protestors

Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) brutally mocked the pro-Palestinian college protesters in response to a report that a university in Yemen, which is controlled by the Houthi, will offer admission to students who have been suspended from American universities.

His post contained a screenshot of a Reuters report that details an offer made by the Houthi, an organization aligned with Iran, to students in Yemen.

“If a homicidal, Iranian-funded, terrorism proxy wants to pick up your college education tab, you really, really might want to reevaluate things,” Fetterman wrote.

Protests continue to dominate college campuses throughout the nation, leading to over 2,000 arrests.

The university issued a statement in which it endorsed the “humanitarian” stance adopted by the American students who staged a nationwide protest and suggested that they pursue their academic pursuits in Yemen.

Antennas it launched against international shipping companies in the Red Sea during the Israel-Hamas conflict prompted the Biden administration to designate the Houthis as a Specifically Designated Terrorist Group.

Fetterman has steadfastly supported Israel and its prerogative to bear arms since the onset of the conflict.

This characterization has been refuted by the demonstrators, who claim they are simply exercising their right to free expression in order to denounce Israel’s atrocities against Palestinian civilians.

Amidst the ongoing unrest, Fetterman was among a group of legislators who urged the president of Columbia University to “do her job or resign” last week.
