Border Patrol Union Mock President Biden After Visit to U.S.-Mexico Border

Over the weekend, a union representing Border Patrol agents ridiculed President Joe Biden for his visit to the U.S.-Mexico border coinciding with former President Donald Trump’s visit.

On Thursday, Biden made a trip to Brownsville, Texas, and stopped by a Border Patrol Station.

Representing approximately 18,000 Border Patrol agents and support personnel, the National Border Patrol Council has previously given its endorsement to Trump.

It has been highly critical of Biden and his administration regarding border security.

An image was shared by the National Border Patrol Council depicting Biden relaxing on a beach, accompanied by a humorous description of his supposed activities during his recent visit to a border town in Texas.

Following an operational briefing, Biden gave a speech where he commended the Border Patrol.

Biden also conveyed a message to Trump.

“Here’s what I would say to Mr. Trump: Instead of playing politics with the issue, instead of telling members of Congress to block this legislation, join me — or I’ll join you — in telling the Congress to pass this bipartisan border security bill. We can do it together,” Biden remarked.

“You know and I know it’s the toughest, most efficient, most effective border security bill this country has ever seen. So, instead of playing politics with the issue, why don’t we just get together and get it done?” he continued.
