Brian Kilmeade and Vivek Ramaswamy Engage in Brutal and Awkward Clash Over Ukraine During Fox Segment

Vivek Ramaswamy was treated with little regard by Brian Kilmeade during a turbulent exchange concerning the Republican candidate’s stance on Ukraine and what he termed a “bonehead” policy.

Lawrence Jones conducted an interview with Ramaswamy at a Tuscaloosa diner frequented by Fox & Friends.

Following that Q&A, the pyrotechnics began when Kilmeade attacked Ramaswamy’s foreign policy in great detail.

Due to the segment’s intense controversy, transcription was extremely difficult however both men landed significant blows on the other with the fight seeming to turn bitter and personal toward the end.

“I’d just like to know with his policy, it’s just ridiculous on Russia-Ukraine, he says ‘tell Russia basically they can have Ukraine if they promise not to have an alliance with China,’ I mean–” Kilmeade says during the exchange.

“Vivek, are you comfortable with Russia taking as much of Ukraine as they want? Are you comfortable pulling all of our aid out and do you really believe that Vladimir Putin will agree not to have an alliance with China?” he continued.

Ramaswamy then attempted to answer by saying that the U.S. needs to play ‘hardball’ in negotiations, and also claimed that continuing the war does not advance U.S. interests.

“So naive, you give up Ukraine then in two years you’d be criticizing Joe Biden for giving up Ukraine,” Kilmeade later said during the back and forth.

“You wanna call me naive? I actually understand what the heck I’m talking about here,” Vivek shot back.
