Interview with Actor Kelsey Grammer Cut Short After He Backs Trump

A recent interview with “Frasier” star Kelsey Grammer reportedly came to an abrupt end after he disclosed to the BBC that he remains a firm supporter of former president Donald Trump.

During his tenure on “Cheers” from 1984 to 1993, the 68-year-old actor originated the role of therapist Dr. Frasier Crane.

From 1993 to 2004, he starred for eleven seasons on the popular sitcom’s spin-off series “Frasier.”

In a recent interview, BBC interviewer Justin Webb spoke with the sitcom star before shifting the conversation to a political query.

“You mentioned Roseanne early on, who had a great comeback, but also was a Trump supporter, you were, at least you were a Trump supporter, I’m fascinated to know if you still are?” Webb asked.

“I am, and that’s about all, let that be the end of it,” Grammer replied.

Reportedly, the interview focused primarily on unrelated matters pertaining to Grammer’s life, including the revival of Frasier and the recollection of his younger sister’s murder.

Webb later told the audience that Grammer was happy to explain his continued support for Trump but that ‘PR people’ at Paramount weren’t happy with the idea.
