Tuesday, when Richard Fowler, a contributor to Fox News, reportedly attempted to defend President Joe Biden in the face of charges of selling out to foreign interests, Kayleigh McEnany lashed out at him.
Devon Archer, a former business partner of Hunter’s, said before Congress on Monday that Biden spoke with Hunter and his allies on more than a dozen occasions. Rep. Dan Goldman, a Democrat from New York, told reporters that it seemed possible that throughout these talks, Biden was just chatting about the weather.
First, McEnany contended that the White House frequently tries to blame “weather” for its problems, noting prior occasions in which Biden’s actions or political choices were influenced by “heavy winds.” She continued by denouncing the media for supporting Biden.
Fowler then engaged in a bit of a back and forth with co-host Harris Faulkner over Biden’s foreign entanglements, but McEnany had enough and interjected:
“You’re talking about Harvard versus Ukraine,” McEnany abruptly said.
“You’ve got to consider the players!” Faulkner then also said.
“I’m not denying the players, but what the Republican House committee is trying to prove is that the sitting president of the United States engaged in bribery with a foreign country. At this point in time, based on almost at a year of them investigating this, they keep saying there’s smoke, but it could be condensation–”Fowler said in protest.
“But why did Obama officials reportedly warn the current president that what he was doing was shadowy,” McEnany continued.
