REPORT: Five Million Dollar Bribe to Biden Linked to Ukrainian Burisma Firm

When his son Hunter Biden was reportedly being paid $1 million year to serve on the board of the Ukrainian gas business Burisma, where Joe Biden, then-vice president, was allegedly offered a $5 million bribe.

According to Fox News, the claim is in an FD-1023 form that the FBI generated based on an interview they had in June 2020 with a confidential FBI source.

While Biden was still vice president, the unnamed source allegedly had several meetings and discussions with the Burisma executive about how to acquire U.S. oil rights and build relationships with a U.S. oil firm.

When questioned why he required counsel with Hunter Biden on the board, the CEO allegedly said that Hunter Biden was “dumb.”

According to the article, the CEO reportedly told the FBI that the company had to pay the Biden family because Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin was looking into the business and it would be difficult for it to enter the U.S. market given the conditions.

The source reportedly claimed that the arraignment would be “$5 million for one Biden, $5 million for the other Biden.”

In 2016, when Biden was still vice president, he threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. credit guarantees in order to put pressure on Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to oust Shokin.
