Trump Claims Biden Family Purposefully ‘Being Protected’ by Rotten Justice System

While claiming during a live Townhall that he shouldn’t have been impeached, former President Trump reportedly stated that President Biden and his family are being protected by the “corrupt” and “one-sided” court system in the United States.

This is especially true if officials were aware of Hunter Biden’s laptop at the time, Trump implied.

Trump also blasted the “witch hunts” he’s endured throughout his political career during a Fox News town hall hosted by Sean Hannity in Clive, Iowa, on Thursday night.

He also pointed out that Biden and his family are treated differently than he is.

“They’re being protected, and it’s a one-sided system—it is a very unfair system, but they’re being protected,” Trump said.

“When you look at all of this criminality like the laptop has so much stuff on it. It’s so bad. It’s so evil, and yet, they don’t want to do anything.” Trump continued.

“If they read the laptop, and they had the laptop, it should not have proceeded, because I was right. It is a dual system of government.” He concluded.

The former president brought up Joe Biden’s actions as vice president, including his attempts to get a Ukrainian prosecutor fired and stop an inquiry into Burisma Holdings, a company that produced natural gas and had Hunter Biden serving on its board.

In a phone call in July 2019, Trump urged Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, to instigate an inquiry into the business dealings and activities of the Biden family in Ukraine, particularly Hunter Biden’s associations with the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings and Joe Biden’s successful efforts to have the prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, removed.

After millions in military funding from the United States to Ukraine had been put on hold, Trump made the request, which Democrats saw as part of a trade-off.

Democrats asserted that Trump was interfering with the 2020 presidential race by requesting a foreign leader to investigate a Democratic rival.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for Delaware launched the inquiry in 2018, and it is still active.
