Russia Issues Arrest Warrant for Senator Lindsey Graham

Following the publication of a video showing Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) praising American expenditure on the death of Russians in Ukraine, Russia issued a warrant on Monday calling for his arrest.

Graham was put to the Russian Interior Ministry’s wanted list after senior Russian investigator Alexander Bastrykin initiated criminal proceedings.

A video showing Graham meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksy last week was published by the country’s presidential administration.

Graham, a fervent opponent of Russian President Vladimir Putin, enjoyed being sought in Russia despite any misunderstandings.

“I will wear the arrest warrant issued by Putin’s corrupt and immoral government as a Badge of Honor. To know that my commitment to Ukraine has drawn the ire of Putin’s regime brings me immense joy. I will continue to stand with and for Ukraine’s freedom until every Russian soldier is expelled from Ukrainian territory.” The senator said.

According to TASS, the Russian Foreign Ministry deemed the claim that Graham’s comments were changed to be taken out of context as a “clumsy” defense.
