New Poll Shows Harris Losing to Donald Trump in a Potential 2024 Matchup

According to a new poll by Redfield & Wilton Strategies, Biden reportedly leads both former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in a 2024 matchup, but Harris loses to Trump.

In a rematch of the 2020 presidential election, Biden holds a narrow lead over Trump, 44%-43%, whereas in a matchup between Biden and DeSantis, the president leads the GOP governor 47%-33%, with 11% undecided.

In a hypothetical matchup between Harris and Trump, the former president leads by a margin of 42% to 39%.

The pollster did not include a Harris versus DeSantis matchup.

Harris trails Biden in job approval rating, with the president having a 40% approval rating and the vice president having a 36% approval rating, according to the survey.

On the Republican side, Trump has maintained a lead over the complete field of candidates, including DeSantis, but the governor of Florida trails the former president the closest.

DeSantis has not yet declared his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election, but he is anticipated to do so as early as next week.
