Former President Trump reportedly came under fire from Steve Doocy, anchor of the morning show on Fox News, for comments he made disparaging the judge who is presiding over his criminal case in New York.
During his address at Mar-a-Lago, President Trump lashed out at what he described as the “Trump-hating” judge who was presiding over his case as well as the judge’s “Trump-hating wife and family.”
“It is a very bad look to attack the family,” Doocy said in response during a segment on ‘Fox & Friends.’
The former president is being charged with a total of 34 felonies in the state of New York in connection with an alleged hush money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels before to his campaign for the presidency in 2016.
Trump lashed out at Fox News hours before he was scheduled to be arraigned on the charges, claiming the network should not have invited William Barr, his former attorney general, on the air to discuss his legal situation.
Several of Fox’s anchors continue to express their general approval of President Trump and have disregarded his legal and political troubles.
