Ivanka Trump Announces She Is ‘Pained’ By Father’s Indictment

Ivanka Trump, the daughter of the former President of the United States, Donald Trump, reportedly commented on her father’s indictment on Friday.

Ivanka Trump shared a statement to social media in which she claimed that she was “pained” by the news but that she was grateful to people who have reached out to her to offer support.

“I love my father, and I love my country. Today, I am pained for both. I appreciate the voices across the political spectrum expressing support and concern.” Ivanka wrote in a post to her Instagram acct.

After serving in the Trump administration for a period of four years in Washington, District of Columbia, Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner have made their home in Miami.

After his indictment by a grand jury in Manhattan, Donald Trump is scheduled to make his initial court appearance on Tuesday.

In the lawsuit that was initiated by the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg over the alleged hush money payments that Trump made to porn actress Stormy Daniels in 2016, the judge who is presiding over the case is Judge Juan Merchan.

In New York City, the courtroom of Judge Merchan is where Trump is set to have his arraignment at 2:15 in the afternoon.

It has been confirmed by a second source, in addition to Trump’s personal attorney Joe Tacopina, that the president has made arrangements with the legal team for the district attorney’s office to surrender without being placed in handcuffs.

It has been stated that Ivanka Trump does not intend to participate in either the presidential candidacy of her father in 2024 nor in a potential second term administration.
