Conservative Businessman Vivek Ramaswamy Announces Presidential Bid

Vivek Ramaswamy, a conservative novelist and businessman, reportedly launched his candidacy for president in 2024 on Tuesday.

Ramaswamy appeared on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show.

Tonight will reportedly be his big announcement, along with the release of a campaign video on his newly built website.

Ramaswamy underlined the importance of meritocracy, calling for the abolition of affirmative action and the protection of free expression.

He also emphasized international policy, naming China as the United States’ main rival.

In his official campaign launch video, Ramaswamy stated that the nation is eager for a purpose in spite of the current societal chaos.

“We’re in the middle of a national identity crisis today. Our nation is hungry for a cause, for purpose, for meaning. The things that used to fill that void, like faith, patriotism, hard work and family, have disappeared. We now embrace one secular religion after another, from COVIDism, to climatism and gender ideology to satisfy our deeper need for identity. Yet we cannot even answer the question of what it means to be an American.”

Ramaswamy then discussed how the left has created psychological slavery by frightening people into not speaking up for fear of being called a racist or a bigot.

Ramaswamy had already hinted about a potential candidacy in 2024 when he visited Iowa in January.

He spoke to farmers and Republican leaders there on resurrecting national identity and combating awakened ideology while there.
