Chris Cuomo Appears to Claim He Wanted ‘To Kill Everyone’ After being Fired From CNN

After being dismissed following disclosures that he assisted his brother, then-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, in navigating various sexual harassment charges, disgraced CNN presenter Chris Cuomo stated he wanted to “murder everybody,” including himself.

Cuomo acknowledged to being imperfect and seeking treatment after being “s*** terminated” by the network during an interview on Anthony Scaramucci’s podcast “Open Book” on Wednesday.

“I had to accept [my firing] because I was going to kill everybody, including myself,” Cuomo said.

“Things can consume you. Italians are so passionate. And I really had to fight against that because … I got too many people counting on me.” he continued.

The former CNN presenter admitted to making a lot of errors and stated he’s been seeing a therapist to deal with the impact from no longer holding his former position on CNN.

Cuomo was sacked from the network in December 2021.

After his position was terminated, the former CNN presenter launched a $125 million lawsuit against the network in March 2022.

He sought $15 million in lost wages and an additional $110 million in damages, the case remains ongoing.

Cuomo stated in July 2022 that he has been employed by NewsNation.
