Before the midterm elections, MSNBC Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough cautioned Democrats to “be cautious” about crime in Philadelphia.
Scarborough went on to say that Philadelphia has recently been suffering from a serious crime wave that has left the city in “chaos.”
Scarborough went on to mak fun of leftists who become defensive while discussing violence in American cities like Philadelphia.
“Every time you bring that up, Progressives are like, ‘Oh it’s just as dangerous in Manhattan, Kansas than it is …,” Scarborough said. “No, it’s not.”
“And if you’re a Democrat, you need to be concerned, all of the murders, the chaos in the city, you know, our CIA buddy, Marc, guy with a long last name that starts with ‘p,’” a reference to Marc Polymeropoulos.
“He’s been in the most dangerous parts of the world in the CIA, he now drives around with Philly cops. They’re demoralized, said he fears for his life more in Philadelphia than he ever did in the most dangerous parts of Afghanistan,” he continued.
Scarborough called what’s going on in Philadelphia “chaos,” despite what Philadelphia’s far-left District Attorney Larry Krasner has claimed in recent weeks.
He also went on to point out that though the city itself will almost certainly vote Democratic as it always has, the suburbs of the city may start to break for Republicans if the trend of rising crime continues.
