Republicans Lead Race to Retake the House in 2022 CBS Reports

The CBS Battleground Tracker has Republicans with the early lead to retake the House in November, CBS Reports.

The model shows Republicans with a lead in 230 House seats compared to Democrats with a lead in 205, a win of 25 seats.

The report indicated that a critical reason for the lead is the direction of the country currently.

The White House is adamant that we are not in a recession and is working overtime to change the definition.

Democrats are also losing favor with Hispanics which is a key coalition for them.

Interestingly enough, the Biden White House is playing a factor. 47% of voters said that their feelings for Biden are driving their decision making for the midterms.

A lot can change heading to November, but currently even CBS has to admit that the situation is bleak for Democrats.

And it appears a lot of the people they need are either going to stay home or vote Republican.
