Marjorie Taylor Greene Makes Move to Impeach U.S. Attorney and FBI Director

On Tuesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) reportedly said that she will proceed to bring articles of impeachment against Matthew Graves, the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, and Christopher Wray, the director of the FBI.

The FBI has become President Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland’s personal police squad, according to Greene’s claim in a statement by Wray.

She gave many instances of FBI activities over the previous several years that she feels show the agency overstepped its bounds and acted improperly while Wray’s leadership.

Greene brought up the scheme that many men had in 2020 to abduct Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D).

He specifically mentioned the couple who were found not guilty after defense counsel claimed that the FBI had lured them into the conspiracy and persuaded them to participate.

The alleged plot’s ringleaders and several other guys were all judged accountable for their deeds.

Greene also brought up the FBI’s investigation into the theft of sensitive and secret papers from the Mar-a-Lago estate of former President Trump.

Although Biden lacked the legal right to retain the records that were discovered in several locations, including his own house, she contended that Trump had not broken any laws with his conduct.

Her articles of impeachment accuse Wray of breaking his oath by failing to guarantee that the laws passed by Congress and signed by the president are faithfully executed and failing to uphold his office.
