Kinzinger Claims He Would Vote for Biden and Against Trump in 2024 in ‘A Heartbeat’

Former Illinois Representative Adam Kinzinger (R) stated that he would support former President Biden over Trump “in a heartbeat.”

Kinzinger, a vehement opponent of Trump, was queried by CNN’s Kaitlan Collins regarding his prospective support in the wake of the withdrawal of his preferred Republican candidate, Chris Christie.

He went on to state his belief that that a rematch between Biden and Trump in 2020 is “highly probable,” and he would without a doubt support Biden in that scenario.

“That’s not even a question I would have to wrestle with,” Kinzinger said.

“It is literally a decision at that moment between ‘do you believe in a functioning democracy? Or do you not?’And I think that’s the only thing on the ballot.” he added.

Trump, according to Kinzinger, who presided over the Committee on January 6 prior to his resignation, has unequivocally demonstrated his disregard for the United States Constitution.

Although he allegedly disagrees with Biden on many things, Kinzinger claimed he would support him in November if the ticket were Trump versus Biden, because Biden does not abhor democracy.

However, Kinzinger stated that he will not campaign aggressively for the Democratic Party and is optimistic that Nikki Haley, a fellow Republican candidate, will perform better in New Hampshire than the former president.

“I hope Nikki wins New Hampshire. I hope that leads to some momentum, anything to beat Donald Trump,” he concluded.
