Sean Hannity Announces Big Move From New York to Florida

Tuesday, Fox News host Sean Hannity disclosed that he relocated from New York to Florida because of the state’s politics and elected officials.

Hannity stated that he “feels much better” since relocating to the Sunshine State, attributing his improved mood to the policies of Republican Florida Senator Marco Rubio, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and Republican Florida Senator Rick Scott, all of whom “share his values.”

“I’ve been threatening to do this for quite a while, but we are now beginning our first broadcast from my new home and that is in the free state of Florida. I am out. I am done. I’m finished.” Hannity said on his radio show.

“And finally for the first time that I can think of in my adult life, I actually have representatives in the state that I’m living in that share my values,” he continued.

According to the report, Hannity stated that he was among the many who have relocated from Democratic-led states to Republican-led states. New York and California experienced significant population declines from April 2020 to July 2022, according to data from the United States Census.

And if anything, I’m probably late and behind the curve and many others have made the move beforehand and there’s not a single person that I know, that made a move like this that is not happy that they’ve made it,” he concluded.

Hundreds of thousands of citizens have fled New York for more conservative states like Florida in recent years.
